A Digger/ Construction Party!
Bean is completely Digger mad at the moment, it means that trips to the shops and other adventures take a little longer because we have to stop to look at every bit of construction taking place in the vicinity. I have been known to reverse the car up a street just to catch a glimpse of the big ‘ole hole being dug up by a digger. There is nothing that Fin likes better than some roadworks or a construction site when we’re trying to take a trip somewhere. The best thing for Bean was being about to actually ‘play’ with a cake and not be told off! He spent ages after we’d blown out the candles, digging with his mini diggers in the biscuit dirt!
I bought ‘builder jackets’ similar to those they use on school and nursery trips to identify the children, which were a hit with Pip and Bean! Bean wore his for the next few days and wouldn’t take it off, even for meals.
