“Take care of all your memories, for you cannot relive them.” (Bob Dylan)
I am Jemma, I love to make things and I look like this.
I’m married to the lovely Mr M and we have 4 children Elodie (9) Finlay (7) Orla (4) and Archie (1) who are loud and interesting. They’re the coolest people I know and they have a band they named ‘Macaroni Star’ and a secret agent club named ‘The Goggle Eyes’ Club!!
We’re a little bit excited because we’ve just brought our ‘forever family home’ in South East London. ‘Forever’ because it will take us forever to decorate and do up but it’s also the place we hope to bed down roots. Read about this adventure here.
I love writing and taking photographs among so many other things (I have yet to even discover half of them yet) and have huge boxes full of crafty stuff that I will darn well make something with…..just as soon as that extra day comes along.
I am happiest listening to rain on a metal roof, reading or watching films under a blanket after crunching through leaves on an Autumnal walk.
I have too many plans, thoughts and adventures that I cannot keep them in my head and so I began writing this blog to capture life’s loveliness that I would otherwise forget in a heartbeat. It’s a place to remember anything and everything about family life. So I can look back on our memories when I’m losing my marbles (which could be anytime very soon).
