Baby and Toddler Christmas Gift Ideas
If you’re looking for fun Baby and Toddler ideas for gifts – I’ve got some of our favourite toy recommendations that our kids have loved. They’ll be certain to make Christmas great fun for small Kids! I’ve always loved Christmas, the beautiful lights, decorations, the food and of course, spending time with all our family and sharing gifts. I even love the cold! But it’s certainly true that Christmas is even more fun with some little people around to share it with!
Our youngest is 16 months old and I think this is the first Christmas that he’s really going to get into it! He already loves unwrapping presents and playing with the boxes they come in and I am so excited to see his little face when we put up the Christmas tree – he loves the pretty lights! Although, if we still have a tree at the end by the time Christmas comes around – we’ll be lucky! Little Archie is such a tinker, I can imagine I shall be rescuing him from underneath the tree a fair amount!
So, here are my top baby and toddler gift ideas for little people!
HAPE 6 in 1 Music Maker
I love HAPE toys, they are beautiful to look at and built to last. We still have some HAPE toys that we bought for Elodie (now nine) that are still going strong – 4 children down the line! I love that they are made out of natural resources and this music maker is a really versatile toy including a tambourine, xylophone, drum and more! There is certainly going to be a lot of noise in our house come Christmas morning!

East Coast Activity Box
Again, East Coast toys are lovely toys for durability and this activity box is like buying 5 toys in 1! It allows 2 children to play together and has activities perfect for developing fine motor skills. It’s a decent size but doesn’t take up much room because you can overturn the bead maze to store inside the box.

Education Rainbow Pebbles
These Rainbow Pebbles make fantastic gift ideas for toddlers (they are perfect for 18 months plus) and they’re also pretty fun for grown ups to play with too! They are beautifully smooth, soft pebbles that are really tactile and make great sensory toys. The set includes 3 shapes, 6 bright colours, 36 pebbles with 8 x 2-sided A4 activity cards to show you different patterns to make. And this is what makes this such a brilliant toddler present – young toddlers will love to use these sensory pebbles as construction toys and stack them which develop their fine motor skills but when older, the activity cards can be used to challenge kids to develop mathematical skills such as counting, sorting, pattern matching, space, shape and size. Kids love these smooth, rubbery pebbles for counting and stacking. They’re a real hit in our house with the toddlers and older kids too! Buy them Here!

Quiet Book
For a truly special gift idea – these Quiet Books are perfect! They are handmade books to keep little people learning and busy. They come fully personalised and can be customised with any variety of activities you choose from an extensive list. The attention to detail and the beautiful fabrics used make this a very special present for a child.

Leapfrog Count Along Till
This till is like a little singing friend! It helps little ones learn to count and is a great game for role play. It comes with 20 shopping items so your little shopkeeper can get scanning straight away! Kids love playing with play food and coins and this till is great for their imagination. I love that there is a volume control as well as little requests from the register to clean up the aisles, and pick up different types of fruit. The fun little songs get my little one dancing!

Bath Toys
Our children have a bath every night, which they love. As they spend so much time in the bath – bath toys are totally perfect for Christmas Presents! We have a whole range of bath toys from squirty ones to a simple tea set, but this pop up teddy is a lovely toy for younger toddlers – the teddy hides until you fill it up with water! This cute teddy and duck bath flannel set is super cute for little ones!
