Family Friendly Attractions near Liverpool Street Station

London with Kids

Headed to London soon? Lots of interesting sights await! Let’s visit Liverpool Street Station.

Liverpool Street Station is one of the main railway stations in the city and opened its doors in 1874. In 1895, Liverpool Street Station had the most platforms of any of the London stations and was considered the main hub in the city.

The station was bombed and damaged during the unfortunate events of World War I. The sections that suffered from the destruction were rebuilt and they became the entry point for children refugees during World War II. The station suffered damage again after the 1993 Bishopsgate bombing and the 2005 bombing.
