How to have a Perfect Pink Pamper Party for an 8 year old birthday!

Elle had grand ideas for her 8th birthday. She said she would love a pamper party. I’m desperate to keep her little and thought a pamper party might be a tad too grown up, but I could knew I plan one that was pink (Elle’s favourite colour) and cute and princessy! Elle designed her own invites which were sparkly and pink and grown up.
I had such a lot of fun planning the party and the girls had such a wonderful time but I was sooooooo thankful that my sister came up to help with the day because I had thought looking after six 8 year old girlies would be super easy…..but I was wrong! Oh the screeching and drama and excitement!
Planning a Pamper Party?
Anyway, here’s what we did for our pamper party in case you ever have the need to entertain some pink obsessed girls of your own!
We started off with a Pink Lemonade Float ( essentially a scoop of ice cream in pink lemonade) while the girls arrived and then we got our crafty heads on and made Rose Petal Lip Balm and Summer Scented bath bombs. (If you’d like to try making your own, find the recipe here)These were a big hit, the girls loved adding the essence and perfumes and delighted in the bath bombs exploding everywhere! This wasn’t meant to happen but they turned out alright and still fizzed beautifully in the bath. These were added to the party bags later on.
Next, the girls relaxed squealed with excitement and soaked their feet in hot water with a bath bomb and a few rose petals scattered in for good measure. We gave them a face mask and cucumbers for their eyes – they did look so sweet!
Whilst I tidied up the bath bomb mess, Auntie Hannah painted their nails, gave them glittery tattoos and took the girls outside to spray glitter spray in their hair and then once fully pampered, they were back in for popcorn and a film (Enchanted) before having food.
They ended the party with a chocolate and fruit fondue which they gorged themselves on, I had to wrestle it off them to get them to sing happy birthday and light the candles for the cake!
The party was worth all the effort when Elle declared it the best birthday ever! Elle and her friends were smiles all round and it was lovely to see them altogether having the bestest of times! Need more birthday party ideas? I love these festival themed party ideas for kids!
